Simultaneously, the NG present in the tank returns to the gas filling station's tank through the gas return port, thereby reducing the pressure in the automobile's tank and facilitating a swift liquid filling process.

In recent times, the utilization and advancement of various specifications of LNG tanks have gained traction in large and medium-sized vehicles like public transport vehicles and heavy trucks. These tanks are being readily adopted alongside LNG filling stations as they offer convenience in usage and ease of control.
